Wears Her Heart on Her Sleeve

Ginnifer Goodwin in He's Just Not That Into You plays a lovable girl in the city looking for love. She analyzes or in this case over-analyzes every little part of her dates. When I first watched it, I wanted to shake her shoulders and tell her to snap out of it. But I'm watching it tonight for a second time, and I love Goodwin's character. She is so honest and is not afraid to get one step closer to finding the right guy.

I love Goodwin's style in the movie. It's one-of-a-kind and has a vintage appeal.

She sports a cut bob too.

Nikaya Handcrafted

Nikaya is a great socially conscious and eco-friendly company. According to their website, their supportive relationships with fair trade groups help the rural poor achieve economic independence by utilizing traditional handicrafts skills to create unique modern designs.

I love what Nikaya stands for. As a former volunteer with Journeys Within Our Community, I am impressed with the company's mission to empower local artisans to create high-quality products that represent their culture.

Here are some of my favorites:

Tote bag

Clutch
Pendant

Silk necklace

Kampuchea Bracelets

The great thing about Nikaya is that they come up with new designs regularly. I can't wait to see what they will deliver next.

Emma Watson, My Dear

As a fan of glossy fashion magazines, I just love it when I stumble across a Burberry ad. They usually feature Emma Watson in a modern, classy feminine way.

From the Autumn/Winter 2009 campaign:

And from the Spring/Summer 2010 campaign:

She looks older than her age of 19, but yet it looks very natural. I'm sure she is very mature for her age, which is something most of us strive to obtain. But for people like me, it just takes time and experience.

Weak in the Knees

These shoes from J. Crew have me falling head over heels. I love the straps and the thick heel for durability and rock-steady comfort. The black suede contrasts well with the light pink patent leather design. Oh, my amor!

Be back in two weeks.

Jet-Setter

There's something about movies involving jet-setters that is appealing. The movie, Up in the Air, illustrates the interesting world of Ryan Bingham, played by George Clooney, as an avid flier. The smell of recycled air, the relative calm amidst the crowd, and concierge service...

This movie reminded me of one of my favorite films, Elizabethtown. Kirsten Dunst plays the character of a stewardist, Claire Colburn. Claire is care-free and really good at
